Regional HR Business Partner Staff & Support Functions

The main mission for the position is to advise and support management teams and individual managers on all HR-related issues that drive business performance. This involves translating business strategy into aligned HR plans and actions and ensuring they are delivered in the business.

The position is local and regional and coordinates HR activities for Volvo Group Staff and Support Functions (SSF). This position has two main scopes of responsibilities. One is for the regional HR coordination within Company Control North Europe which consists of approx. 30 countries and 230 employees. The HRBP will be a member of the CC North Europe management team as well as the global HR team supporting Accounting and Company Control (ACC). The position reports to the Director HR SSF & Group IT Poland and functionally to VP HR ACC. The second role is to advise and support management teams and individual managers within ACC and Group Finance organizations present in Poland, which comprises of approx. 280 employees.
 
Main Responsibilities:
• Provide professional HR support and guidance to managers while ensuring compliance with relevant global and country HR policies
• Coordinate all HR initiatives in close cooperation with country HR
• Drive and implement the HR agenda that will guarantee the execution of business strategy
• Cooperate and coordinate with other key HR functions to ensure effective joint delivery of HR services to the assigned organizations
• Ensure effective use of the Volvo Group HR processes such as Performance management, Talent Review, Total Compensation Policy, Competence Development, etc.
• Drive leader sourcing within assigned organization with focus on ensuring succession planning and leader development
• Coach and challenge managers in decision making on HR matters
• Proactively build and promote strong employee trust and open communication between all levels
• Ensure that the organization complies with local employment laws & legislations and applicable Volvo Group policies

Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in Human Resources or similar with a minimum 7 years of HRBP experience
• Experience from working in a global matrix organization
• Fluent English, additional languages a plus
• Good knowledge and understanding of operational HR and of all HR processes
