Team Leader IM/BI

Volvo Group IT in Wroclaw is looking for candidates for the position of: Team Leader IM/BI


Role mission & context
The Solution Center IM/BI is delivering maintenance and development of Business Intelligence solutions for the Volvo Group and external customers.
As Team Leader you are responsible for the IT team that works with maintenance, support and new development of Business Intelligence solutions. You are responsible for the planning and prioritization of the various task performed by the team in order to meet delivery targets.
You will report to the Delivery Manager (DM and cooperate closely with Solution Leaders (SL) in the business aspects of runtime delivery and enhancements of solutions in scope of your delivery.
The application’s scope will be ePurch, PURE and VSR.


Key responsibilities
 
•Plan, inform, co-ordinate, distribute, implement and monitor the team's activities on a daily and regular basis to create an efficient work distribution
•Adhere and work according to decided processes and implement recommended tools
•Establish guidelines, work instructions
•Ensure execution, follow up and report on agreed performance indicators and targets
•Manage deliveries according to agreed estimations on cost, time and quality
•Secure a professional relationship with other stakeholders within the delivery organization, to ensure an efficient End-To-End-delivery
•Initiate, support, drive and implement continuous improvement activities with focus on productivity and cost-efficiency in the team
•Securing the usage of operational standards required by the Company
•Additional responsibilities can be delegated from the DM
•Continuously work with establishing an inspiring and creative work climate, leading to learning and evolving organization

Since you are part of a global unit, with global responsibilities, you will need to actively cooperate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment.


Required competencies
 
•University degree in computer science or related
•3 years’ experience in application maintenance, support and development in international assignments
•Excellent skills in: communication, leadership, self-reliance, task/result oriented,  time management, work under pressure, ability to learn on the fly
•Knowledge of the area in scope (BI)
•Good knowledge of Remedy or other IT Service Management or Case Handling Tool
•Knowledge of ITIL will be an asset
•Strong business understanding
•Ability to manage in a functional environment
•Ability to drive change
•Complete proficiency in English
